I have spent over two decades building products at the intersection of security and cloud. Right now I am at AWS on the Web Application Firewall (WAF) team, focused on bot detection and mitigation.
Security has been a through-line across my career. At Google Cloud I worked on reCAPTCHA — one of the web's core bot-fighting tools. Before that at Microsoft I started my career as a software developer on Forefront security products, then moved into product management — leading Windows Defender Antivirus among others.
At Google Cloud I also worked on cloud billing and cost management, and independently served on the FinOps Foundation Technical Advisory Council as a voting member, helping codify multi-cloud FinOps standards.
I have also done the startup thing — co-founded KoduCare, a healthcare home-visit marketplace, and built a few other side projects along the way, including one that made GeekWire.
